The King of Redding

Twain at Stormfield, his home in Redding, Ct.
Mark Twain died 100 years ago in Redding, Connecticut, one town over from me. I wrote a piece about his time there for Ridgefield Magazine and other magazines in the area. If you're into Twain things, you can read it here.

I've made the pilgrimage there, Twain being my favorite. The original house burned down, but he left his mark all over the town.

Local historian Brent Colley has much more here.
